What You Keep After the Event: PDF, Photos, Voice Notes and Video
The night is over, the venue is packed away, and you have a guest book full of messages, photos and voice notes. What can you actually take home?
This post explains every way to keep your DigiGuestbook, what each plan includes, and how long your guest book stays online.
The printable PDF
Every guest book can be downloaded as a PDF: a cover page with your event name, then every guest message laid out to read and print.
Print it at home, take it to a print shop, or upload it to a photo book service. Many hosts print a copy for parents or grandparents who would rather hold a book than scroll a screen.
On the free plan the PDF carries a small watermark. Keepsake and Heirloom remove it.
The highlight video
Your guest book can become a video to share with family or play at a first anniversary. Choose between two styles:
- Wall: your live wall building up as messages and photos appear one by one, just as they did on the night.
- Slideshow: each guest message shown in turn, ready to share or replay.
The video is included with Keepsake (with a small watermark) and Heirloom (no watermark).
Every photo and voice note
On Keepsake and Heirloom you can download a ZIP file with every photo and voice note your guests sent, plus a spreadsheet of all the messages. That's your complete archive, ready to back up to your own computer or cloud storage.
A web page to keep
On Keepsake and Heirloom you can also download your guest book as a single web page that opens offline in any browser. It's a good way to keep the whole thing, as it looked, without depending on anyone's servers.
What each plan includes
Free: up to 10 messages and 50 guest photos, voice notes, the live wall and a watermarked PDF. Online for 14 days from when you create the event.
Keepsake: unlimited messages, up to 500 guest photos, more themes, the full downloads above, and a highlight video with a small watermark. Online for 12 months from purchase.
Heirloom: everything in Keepsake, all twelve themes, up to 2,500 guest photos, a clean highlight video and priority support. Online for 12 months from purchase.

How long it stays online
Paid plans keep your guest book online for 12 months from the day you buy. After that, hosting renews automatically each year so it stays online, and we email you 30 days before each renewal. You can cancel any time. There's more detail in how long a digital guestbook stays online.
Whatever you decide, download everything before hosting ends. Once a guest book closes, downloads are no longer available.
Our advice
Within a week of your event, download the PDF and the ZIP, and keep a copy somewhere safe. Print one copy of the PDF. Then you can enjoy the online version for as long as it's useful, knowing the memories are already safe.
